Donna Myers

Having only painted since 2004, Donna Myers' skill with drawing and watercolor belies such a short painting career.  As an award winning quilter and textile artist, Donna  learned the elements of color, design, and form while working with fabrics for most of her life.

When she did start to draw and paint, her work reflected all those years of knowledge learned from her textile pieces.  She was not a beginner!

Living on a farm at the edge of Sunray, Texas with her husband, Lee.  She has attended many workshops and painting seminars in the Panhandle.  She shows her work at The Art Center, Dumas, Texas and around the area.

Working with watercolor is her first love and she has devoted her time and efforts to developing her skill with this medium.  While she paints all subject matter, her work reflects a special interest in flowers and architecture.
